1999 BMW M3 Evo Convertible | Handforth, Cheshire

A 1999 BMW M3 Evo Convertible, the open-top version of the second-generation M3. It is known and liked for its naturally aspirated 3.2-litre straight-six, which makes 321bhp and sounds best with the roof down. The styling stays restrained, so the performance is in the drive rather than the bodywork. This car is purple with a brown interior, a rich pairing that reads clearly on camera. It seats four, and with the roof folded the people inside are in full view from outside the car. The manual gearbox and the sporting character of the M3 come with that open-air setting. The 1990s E36 shape suits period advertising, music videos, and fashion and editorial shoots, where the colour and open cabin give a stylist plenty to work with. Photographers and film crews get a car that sits naturally in 1990s-set scenes. Weddings and groom arrivals are covered too, as a sporting alternative to a formal saloon. The car is based in Handforth, Cheshire.
