1985 Austin Mini | London, Surrey

An Austin Mini from 1985, the small British saloon known for its rounded body, its front-wheel-drive handling and a shape that changed little over decades. Minis of this era have winding windows and concealed door hinges, which keep the sides of the car clean and simple. This car is Yellow with a Black interior, a bright body against a dark cabin that reads clearly in frame. Its short length and upright stance leave plenty of room in shot for the location behind it. It seats two, so the cabin is a tidy driver-and-passenger space. Those proportions suit advertising, fashion and editorial shoots, where the colour carries the picture, and film, TV and music video sets that need a period British street look. It also works as a small, friendly focal point at events, and for a couple's arrival or a birthday outing. The car is based in London.
