1974 Austin Mini | East Hendred, Oxfordshire

A 1974 Austin Mini, the compact British saloon liked for its rounded shape and lively, distinctive handling. The model gained winding windows and concealed door hinges in 1969, and its basic shape changed little for decades afterwards. The engine sits across the front and drives the front wheels, which leaves most of the length for the cabin. This car is orange with a black interior, a bold pairing that stands out against grey streets and green countryside alike. Its short body leaves plenty of the location visible around it in shot, and it seats four. Advertising, photography and fashion and editorial work get a clear colour focal point in frame. Film and TV productions set in the 1970s get a period shape, and music videos get a small, characterful car for narrow city streets. It also makes a cheerful arrival car for a wedding or a personal hire. The car is based in East Hendred, Oxfordshire.
