2012 Volvo C30 | Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

A 2012 Volvo C30, the compact three-door hatchback known for its broad rear shoulders and large glass tailgate, a shape that echoed the Volvo 1800 ES. The model also had a screen role as Edward Cullen's car in the 2008 film Twilight. This car is silver with a black interior, a restrained pairing that photographs cleanly in daylight. Under the bonnet is a 1.6-litre diesel, and the cabin seats four. The glass tailgate and compact body give photography and advertising a distinctive rear view, and the late-2000s styling suits film and TV scenes set around 2010. Plain silver paintwork keeps fashion and editorial frames and music video locations uncluttered, while the black interior gives a neutral backdrop for close shots. A wedding or personal hire gets a smart, modern small car for the day. It is based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
