2002 Volvo C70 | Ewell, Surrey

A 2002 Volvo C70, the two-door, front-wheel-drive, five-cylinder Volvo that broke from the marque's boxy tradition with a smooth, curving shape. It is known as a relaxed long-distance tourer, and its launch marketing was tied to the 1997 film The Saint. This car is finished in red with a black interior, a strong pairing that reads clearly against both city and country backdrops. The long, rounded bodywork picks up reflections well, and the cabin has room for four. Its look suits advertising, photography and fashion and editorial shoots, where the colour and flowing lines do the work. It also sits comfortably in early-2000s film and TV and music video settings. Events, weddings and personal hires get a smart arrival car. The car is based in Ewell, Surrey.
