2004 Volvo C70 | Ewell, Surrey

A 2004 Volvo C70 convertible, from the first generation that Volvo built with a soft top from 1997 to 2005. It is known as a relaxed open car with a comfortable, well-finished cabin and understated Scandinavian lines. This car is blue with a beige interior, a soft pairing that keeps the cabin light and bright with the roof folded away. The fabric roof goes up or down to suit the shot, and the car seats four, so a small group can share the frame. Photography, fashion and editorial shoots suit the open cabin, which gives the camera a clear view of the people inside. The calm blue paint sits easily in an advertising palette, and the clean early-2000s shape works for music videos and period-set film and TV. Weddings and personal hires are well covered too. The car is based in Ewell, Surrey.
