1983 Volkswagen Jetta | Birmingham, West Midlands

A 1983 Volkswagen Jetta, the saloon version of the Golf, with a separate boot behind the same compact front end. The first-generation Jetta is liked for its practical, no-fuss character and a cabin that feels roomy for its size. This car is green with a black interior, and it has a 1.3-litre petrol engine. Its angular three-box body and restrained finish read as everyday motoring from the early 1980s, and it seats four. That look suits period location photography, film and television scenes set in the early 1980s, and music videos that need a believable family car. The separate boot helps with event arrivals where luggage or props travel with the passengers. A wedding or personal hire is also possible for anyone who likes a low-key period saloon. The car is based in Birmingham, West Midlands.
