1994 Rover Mini Cabriolet | London

A 1994 Rover Mini Cabriolet, the open-top version of the small British car loved for its short, upright shape and cheerful character. Its 1275cc engine sits under a bonnet on a body compact enough to leave most of the frame to the location around it. This car is red with a grey interior, a plain pairing that reads cleanly against brick, stone or greenery. Its condition is excellent, so it stands up to close-up work as well as wide shots. With the roof folded back, the people inside are fully in view, and the four seats give room for a small group. Photography, fashion and editorial shoots and advertising suit the colour and the open top, which lets the camera see the people inside. Music videos and 1990s-set film and TV work suit its period lines, and events suit a car that is easy to place in a crowded setting. It also makes a cheerful wedding or birthday car. It is based in London.
