1998 Rover Mini | Chalton, Bedfordshire

A 1998 Rover Mini, from the final years of the classic Mini. The model is known for its small rounded body, front-wheel drive and lively, close-to-the-road handling. Winding windows and concealed door hinges, added in 1969, stayed with it to the end. This car is red with a black interior, a strong pairing that reads clearly on camera. Its 1275cc engine is the larger A-Series size, and it seats two, which keeps a driver and one passenger close together in shot. The compact, rounded shape gives photography and fashion and editorial shoots a clear period subject without crowding the frame. In advertising, music videos and film or TV set in 1990s Britain, a red Mini places the scene at once. Events, wedding arrivals and personal hires suit it too. The car is based in London and Bedfordshire.
