1999 Rover Mini Cooper | Manston, Dorset

A 1999 Rover Mini Cooper, the sporting version of the small British saloon, with the Cooper name revived by Rover in 1990 after 21 years away. The model is liked for its compact size, lively handling and a rally reputation that still colours how people see it. This car is red with a black interior, a clean pairing that reads well in photographs. The short bonnet and wheels set at the corners keep its shape neat and leave plenty of room in shot for the location around it. Inside, the snug cabin gives interior details and close portraits a natural frame. That suits advertising, fashion and editorial shoots and music videos, where the red body stands out against a street or studio backdrop, and 1990s-set film and TV. At events its small size makes it easy to place on a stand or in a courtyard. It also works for a wedding arrival or a personal hire. The car is based in Dorset.
