1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow | Sandhurst, Berkshire

The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is the formal British saloon of the late 1960s and 1970s, known for a quiet cabin and a smooth ride from its self-levelling suspension. The model appeared in The Thomas Crown Affair and several Bond films. This car is finished in black/ivory, with a chrome grille topped by the Spirit of Ecstasy. Inside are beige leather seats and polished wood veneers, and the condition is very good. The 6230cc V8 is hushed, and the long, upright body gives a camera plenty of clean, stately panels to work with. For advertising, fashion and editorial shoots, music videos and period film and television, its formal 1970s lines and wood-and-leather cabin set the scene on their own. Events suit it for the same reasons, and weddings and birthday hires gain a roomy rear for arrivals. The car is based in Sandhurst, Berkshire.
