About this vehicle
2001 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph | London, Hertfordshire
The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph is the Crewe-built saloon that replaced the Silver Spirit and Silver Spur in 1998. It was the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom III, with a BMW-built 5.4-litre V12 and a traditional cabin of leather and walnut. This car is black, polished to a mirror shine, with the Spirit of Ecstasy leading from the bonnet. Inside it has cream leather and wood veneer, and it seats four. It is in excellent condition, and its upright, formal body gives a strong outline on location. Black paint against cream leather gives fashion, editorial and advertising photographers a clean contrast to work with. Film and TV productions set around the turn of the millennium can use its period interior, and events get a formal arrival car with real presence at the door. Weddings and anniversaries suit its dignified manner. It is based in London, Hertfordshire.
