1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit | Martlesham Heath, Suffolk

A 1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit, the formal Crewe saloon known for a quiet, level ride and a cabin of polished wood and leather. Its square body and upright radiator grille carry a spring-loaded Spirit of Ecstasy, which retracts into the shell if knocked. This car is white with a cream interior, a light pairing that sits cleanly against dark and bright backdrops alike. The tall, upright body gives a camera plenty of cabin to work with, and the cream trim lifts interior shots. It seats five, with the generous rear space of a full-size saloon. Photography, fashion and editorial shoots gain a refined setting from the formal lines and the wood-and-leather cabin. Film, TV and advertising work set in the 1980s can use it for formal arrivals, and at events the grille and Spirit of Ecstasy make a strong static display. It also gives a wedding or anniversary a dignified arrival. The car is based in Martlesham Heath, Suffolk.
