1972 MG B GT | Spencers Wood, Berkshire

The MGB GT is MG's fixed-roof coupé, a fastback with a glazed tailgate and the lively four-cylinder character of the MGB roadster. It is liked for its neat proportions, its chrome detailing and a cabin that feels snug and properly enclosed without losing the sports-car feel. This 1972 car is finished in blue with a brown interior, a warm pairing that sits well against brick, stone or green countryside. The three-door body has a rear hatch that opens wide, handy for carrying props, wardrobe or camera kit to a location. The fastback roofline and chrome trim suit 1970s-set film and TV, where a British coupé shape reads clearly in frame. Photography and fashion or editorial shoots get a clean, unbroken line from the fixed roof, and advertising and events gain a period centrepiece. Weddings and personal hires are well served too. The car is based in Spencers Wood, Berkshire.
