1979 MG B GT | London

A 1979 MG MGB GT, the fixed-roof coupé version of the well-liked British sports car. It has a sloping rear window and a tailgate, so the shape is neat and still practical. Cars from 1975 onwards carry rubber bumpers and sit an inch higher than earlier ones. This one is blue with a grey interior, and it is in very good condition. The cool, restrained pairing reads clearly on camera, and the coupé roof gives it a solid, well-defined profile from every angle. It suits advertising, photography and fashion and editorial work, where a calm colour and a clean side profile frame a subject well. Film and TV productions set in the 1970s and 1980s get a car from the right period, and events can use it as a characterful arrival. It also makes a relaxed wedding or birthday car. The car is based in London.
