1994 Ford Transit ambulance | Broadwell and Coalway, Gloucestershire

A 1994 Ford Transit ambulance, an emergency-service conversion of the light commercial van Ford has built since 1965. The Transit is a working vehicle British streets know well, and the ambulance version brings that practical, no-nonsense look to a 1990s setting. This one is white with a black interior and is in very good condition. Its tall, boxy body gives a plain, utilitarian shape, and it runs a 2.5-litre diesel engine. The cabin seats four, so a small crew or group can travel together. Film and television productions get a period emergency vehicle for 1990s dramas and crime stories, and the plain white panels read clearly on screen. Music videos and fashion and editorial shoots can use the flat-sided body as a stark, graphic backdrop. Promotional events gain a clear emergency-service identity. Weddings and themed parties can hire it for something different. It is based in Broadwell and Coalway, Gloucestershire.
