1990 Ford Sierra Cosworth | London, Kent

A 1990 Ford Sierra Cosworth, the turbocharged performance version of Ford's everyday Sierra. It is remembered for putting a 2.0-litre engine under a plain family-car body, and fast-Ford enthusiasts still like it for that. The Sierra's smooth, aerodynamic lines give it a clear period look. This car is white outside and white inside, a clean scheme that reads sharply in daylight and stands out against brick, concrete or green backdrops. It seats five, so a model, a stylist and a small crew can travel together. The bright colour and period shape suit advertising and photography, where the car holds the frame without competing with the location. Music video and fashion and editorial work gain from its late-1980s and 1990s look, and film and TV productions set in those years get a car that belongs there. It also makes a distinctive choice for a wedding or a birthday. The car is based in London, Kent.
