1972 Ford Cortina | Horsham, West Sussex

A 1972 Ford Cortina, the Ford family saloon, with a 1599cc petrol engine and seating for four. It was first registered in October 1972, which places it squarely in the early 1970s. Yellow paint over a black interior gives a strong, simple colour contrast that holds its own in front of a camera. The car is in good condition. Its automatic gearbox is less usual in a Cortina and means no clutch to manage when it is moved between set-ups. A saloon body leaves room to place people beside and around the car. Advertising, photography, and fashion and editorial shoots can use the yellow as a clear colour note, while film, TV and music video productions set in the 1970s get a period saloon that looks the part. Weddings and personal hires are welcome too.
