1997 Fiat Punto | Letchworth, Hertfordshire

A 1997 Fiat Punto, the compact Italian supermini that won European Car of the Year for 1995. It was liked for a roomy cabin and a generous boot on a small footprint, and it was a familiar everyday car of the mid-1990s. This car is white with a blue interior, a clean, plain pairing that sits easily in period scenes without pulling attention from the cast or the product. Its 1.4-litre engine and four-seat cabin give a small group room in shot. For film and television set in the 1990s, an ordinary supermini like this gives believable background or hero transport. Photography and fashion shoots get a white body that reads cleanly against a street or studio backdrop, and events can use it as period everyday transport. Weddings and personal hires suit its small, characterful look too. The car is based in London, Hertfordshire.
