1996 Fiat Punto | Letchworth, Hertfordshire

A 1996 Fiat Punto, the small hatchback that replaced the Uno and was named European Car of the Year for 1995. It is remembered for its smooth, rounded styling and a cabin that felt roomy for such a compact car. This car is blue with a grey interior, a quiet combination that keeps attention on whoever is in the frame. It seats four, and the tall body lets plenty of daylight into the cabin, which reads well through the windows. For advertising, photography and fashion or editorial shoots, plain blue paint gives a 1990s backdrop that leaves the subject in focus. Film, TV and music video productions set in that decade get an ordinary car of the period, and its compact size sits easily in a street scene or car park. Events can use it as a friendly period touch. A relaxed wedding or personal hire suits it too. The car is based in London, Hertfordshire.
