1989 BMW E30 Alpina | Dunstable, Bedfordshire

A 1989 BMW E30, the compact rear-wheel-drive 3 Series known for sharp, upright 1980s lines. Its engineering kept the cabin and boot roomy for such a small car, and the E30 remains a well-liked everyday classic. This car is finished in Black with a grey interior, a sober pairing that keeps the eye on the shape and the location. Its registration record lists it as an Alpina C227, and it has a 2.7-litre petrol engine. The automatic gearbox, rather than the manual most E30s had, keeps slow arrivals and tracking shots smooth. It seats four. The clean, boxy lines suit 1980s-set film and TV scenes and period-style adverts. Black paintwork against grey trim photographs crisply for automotive, fashion and editorial shoots, and for music videos. It also works for weddings and personal occasions. The car is based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
