1993 BMW 525 E34 | Manchester, Lancashire

The BMW 525 E34 is the third-generation 5 Series in its six-cylinder form, a rear-wheel-drive executive saloon liked for its measured, understated styling. It was the kind of car that parked outside offices and hotels in the early 1990s without fuss. This example is finished in Maroon with a Silver interior, a quiet, grown-up pairing that photographs well in daylight and under cloud alike. It is in very good condition and seats four, with four doors and a straightforward saloon shape. That look suits period film and television work set in the late 1980s or 1990s, and advertising or editorial photography that wants a restrained business saloon. Music videos and event arrivals can use the same formal presence. Weddings and personal hires are a simple fit too. The car is based in Manchester, Lancashire.
