1992 BMW E36 | Salisbury, Wiltshire

The BMW E36 is the third-generation 3 Series, a rear-wheel-drive compact executive car of the 1990s with a smooth, wedge-shaped body. It appeared on Car and Driver's 10Best list every year it was on sale, and it is still well regarded as a car to drive. This 1992 example is red with a grey interior, a plain, period pairing that reads clearly on camera. Under the bonnet is a 1.8-litre petrol engine, and the cabin seats four. It is in fair condition, which sits comfortably in everyday 1990s scenes. Film and TV productions set in the 1990s can use the shape to date a scene at once, and period advertising benefits in the same way. Music video, fashion and editorial shoots get a strong red against the grey cabin. Weddings and personal hires are welcome too. The car is based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
