1995 Volvo 740 | Runcorn, Cheshire

A 1995 Volvo 740 saloon, the squared-off Swedish executive car known for its upright lines, roomy cabin and sensible, understated character. Police forces in Scandinavia used the 740 too, which fits its reputation for quiet competence. This car is finished in deep forest green with black upholstery. The broad glass area gives the cabin a bright, open feel, and it seats four. Its 2300cc petrol engine makes for a relaxed drive, and the condition is good. The straight-edged shape and dark paint suit film and TV work set in the late 1980s or 1990s, and photography or fashion shoots that want a graphic, geometric backdrop. Events and music videos can use it as a period executive car with a low-key look. For weddings and personal days out, it offers an unfussy arrival. The car is based in Runcorn, Cheshire.
