1974 Volkswagen Beetle Karmann Cabriolet | Ringstead, Northamptonshire

A 1974 Volkswagen Beetle Karmann Cabriolet, the open-top Beetle built by Karmann with a lined folding fabric roof. It keeps the rounded Beetle body and the air-cooled engine at the back, and it seats four. This car is red with a black interior and is in excellent condition. It is largely original, and its slim towel rail bumpers sit neatly against the red paintwork. Fold the roof back and the black seats show up well against the colour of the body. That contrast works in front of a camera, for photography, fashion and editorial shoots and music videos. The period shape suits 1970s film and TV, and gives events and advertising a friendly open-top Beetle. Weddings and personal hires get the same open roof. The car is based in Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire.
