1964 Vauxhall Victor FE | Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire

A 1964 Vauxhall Victor FE, from the Victor line of roomy, straightforward British family saloons. Cars like it were an everyday sight in the 1960s, which is why one looks believable on a period set. This car is black outside and black inside, so it reads as one deep, uniform shape with its clean saloon lines easy to see. It has a 1600cc petrol engine, seats four and is in fair condition. Film and television work set in the 1960s gets an ordinary family saloon shape that suits a background vehicle. Black paint gives fashion, editorial and advertising shoots a dark, simple backdrop that lets clothes and products stand out, and the same look works as a period arrival car at events. Weddings and personal hires are well served too. The car is based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
