1998 Vauxhall Corsa convertible | Gosport, Hampshire

A 1998 Vauxhall Corsa convertible, the open-top take on the small Corsa hatchback, sold in the UK as the Corsa Cabriolet in 1998 and 1999. The Corsa is liked as a compact, easy-going everyday car, and the open roof gives it a lighter, sunnier character. This one is green with a beige interior, a soft pairing that looks natural in daylight and keeps the cabin bright with the roof down. It has a 1.4-litre petrol engine and seats five, so a small group fits in shot together. Its short, simple body leaves the location visible around it. That suits photography and fashion and editorial work, where the open top gives a clear view of the people inside. Its late-1990s small-car look fits period-set film and TV, music videos and advertising that want an everyday car of the time. It also works for event arrivals, and a wedding or personal hire gets the same open-top ease. The car is based in Truro, Cornwall.
