2002 Porsche Boxster | Trowbridge, Wiltshire

A 2002 Porsche Boxster, the first-generation 986 roadster that Auto Express remembers as Porsche's saviour. It is liked for a ride that is soothing yet taut, and for a flat-six engine that feels lively without ever being intimidating. This car is Blue with a black interior and is in very good condition. Its 3.2-litre engine is the larger of the two flat-sixes the 986 was sold with. The cabin is open to the sky, so driver and passenger are clearly visible from outside, and the dark interior gives a neat contrast against the paintwork. The low, wide stance suits advertising, fashion and editorial shoots, and music videos where the people in the car matter as much as the car. It also works for photography and events, where an open two-seater arrives with presence. Weddings and special days are well served too. The car is based in Bath.
