2001 Porsche Boxster | York, North Yorkshire

A 2001 Porsche Boxster, the mid-engined two-seat roadster that helped Porsche recover in the late 1990s. It is liked for its balance, with the flat-six placed behind the cabin, and for a fabric roof that folds away. This car is finished in metallic silver with a black leather interior, an understated pairing that keeps the eye on its curved lines. Its 2.7-litre flat-six sits behind the seats and gives it the engine note Porsche flat-sixes are known for. Its condition is fair. The low, open profile suits photography and fashion and editorial shoots, and the silver paint picks up light well. Film and TV productions set in the early 2000s get a car from exactly that period, while advertising and music video work gains mid-engine sports-car proportions with the roof folded away. It also makes a stylish wedding getaway or a personal day out for two. The car is based in York, North Yorkshire.
