1988 Porsche 944 S | Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire

A 1988 Porsche 944 S, the sportier 944, with a high-revving 2.5-litre 16-valve engine and 190 PS. The model is liked for its balanced handling and a low, wide-arched shape that still looks sharp. A small "16 Ventiler" script on the flanks marks the S. This car is white with a black interior, a clean, high-contrast pairing that reads well on location and in the studio. The coupé body has a low roofline and pop-up headlights, which give a clear 1980s look, and there are four seats. The period shape suits 1980s-set film and TV, advertising and music video work, because it sets the decade at once. White paintwork against black trim gives fashion and editorial photographers a tidy, graphic subject. It also makes a driver-focused car for a wedding arrival or a personal hire. The car is based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
