1957 Porsche 356 Speedster | Cheshire

A 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster, the stripped-back open Porsche built for drivers who wanted less weight and more fresh air. It is liked for its low, raked windscreen, simple folding top and compact rear-engined shape, which set it apart from the better-equipped cabriolet. This car is white with a brown interior, a soft, warm pairing that suits the low lines. Its 1600cc air-cooled engine sits behind the rear axle, which keeps the nose short and the stance neat. With the roof down, driver and passenger are in clear view from every side. Photography, fashion and editorial shoots get a pale body that takes light cleanly and a low roofline that leaves the location in shot. Advertising, music video and 1950s-set film and TV work can use the open, low-screen silhouette. Events, weddings and personal hires suit an open-top arrival too. The car is based in Cheshire.
