1988 Porsche 944 | Cardiff, Rhondda Cynon Taff

The Porsche 944 is a front-engined, rear-wheel-drive sports coupé with its gearbox at the rear, which spreads weight almost evenly between the axles. That balance is what it is known and liked for, along with a broad rear hatch that makes it more practical than most sports cars of its day. This 1988 car is Black with a Black interior, a dark, uniform finish that shows off the flared arches and the sloping line of the hatch. It is in excellent condition and seats four. The 1980s Porsche coupé shape suits period advertising, film and TV, and music video work, while the dark paintwork gives photography and fashion and editorial shoots a clean, graphic backdrop. At events it makes a smart, low-key arrival. Weddings and personal hires are welcome too. The car is based in Cardiff.
