1989 Porsche 944 | East Ayrshire

A 1989 Porsche 944, the front-engined, rear-drive coupé known for its near-even balance between the axles. Its gearbox sits at the back of the car, and the broad rear hatch gave a sports car real everyday usefulness. This car is finished in red with a black interior. Flared arches and a wide hatch give the body a low, planted 1980s stance, and the 2.7-litre engine sits under a long, sloping bonnet. It seats four in a 2+2 layout. The red paint and strong arches hold the frame in advertising, photography, and fashion and editorial work. The period shape suits music videos and 1980s-set film and TV, and it makes a lively arrival at an event. It also works for a wedding or a special day out. The car is based in East Ayrshire.
