1991 Porsche 944 | Taplow, Buckinghamshire

A 1991 Porsche 928, the front-engined V8 grand tourer built for fast, comfortable distances rather than stripped-out sports driving. Its smooth, rounded body and pop-up headlamps looked forward when new, and the shape still reads as clean and confident. This car is finished in Amethyst red, a deep, maroon-leaning shade, with a grey interior that gives the colour a calm backdrop. It seats four, and its condition is very good. The long bonnet and low, wide stance fill a frame from the side or three-quarter angle, which gives advertising and photography crews a strong, simple shape to work with. The deep red photographs richly in fashion and editorial work, and the 1990s look suits music videos and period film and TV. It also makes a distinctive arrival car at events, and it is available for weddings and personal hires. It is based in London, Buckinghamshire.
