2005 Porsche 911 (997) | Caterham, Surrey

A 2005 Porsche 911 (997), the generation that brought back oval headlights after the 996. It keeps the rear-mounted flat-six the 911 is known for, and is liked for its low, wide-hipped shape and a cabin with more traditional cues. This car is silver with a black interior, a restrained pairing that stays crisp in daylight and reads as modern and understated in shot. Its 3.6-litre flat-six sits behind the rear axle, which gives the car its low, planted stance from the side. Advertising, fashion and editorial shoots suit its clean lines and neutral colour, which keep attention on the product or the wardrobe. Music videos and 2000s-set film and TV suit the period shape. It also makes a smart, quiet arrival for a wedding or special day. The car is based in Caterham, Surrey.
