A 1997 Mitsubishi GTO, the Japanese grand touring coupé sold in many markets as the 3000GT. It was Mitsubishi's technology showcase of the early 1990s, built around a 3.0-litre V6 and a low, wide stance that still looks purposeful. The 1994 restyle brought projector headlamps and smoother bonnet lines, and a 1997 car comes from after that update. This car is silver with a black interior, a cool, understated pairing that reads cleanly against both city and countryside backdrops. It is left-hand drive: the driver sits on the kerb side and the front passenger steps out on the road side, which gives the car a continental look in shot. The three-door coupé body has long doors and a sweeping roofline. That low, wide shape suits automotive photography, music videos and fashion shoots, and the silver paintwork takes light well.
