2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK | Llanigon, Herefordshire

The Mercedes-Benz SLK is a compact two-seat roadster known for its folding metal hardtop, which turns coupé into open car in about 22 seconds. The 2007 model belongs to the R171 generation, with a tapering nose and twin roll-over bars that give it a purposeful, sporty profile. This car is finished in obsidian black over a black leather interior, a single dark palette that photographs cleanly and lets the sharp bodywork lines show. It has a V6 engine and is in very good condition. With the roof up it reads as a smart, closed coupé; with the roof stowed, the cabin opens to the light. Two roof positions and a monochrome finish suit advertising, commercial shoots, fashion and editorial work, and contemporary TV and film, where the crisp lines look modern and uncluttered. Music videos and events can use either roof position for a different look. For a wedding, it makes a sporty, modern getaway car for a couple. The car is based in Hereford, Herefordshire.
