1982 Mercedes-Benz 500 | Burton-on-Trent, Derbyshire

A 1982 Mercedes-Benz 500 from the W126 generation, the S-Class that Mercedes-Benz introduced in 1979. The generation is known for aerodynamic styling that set the look for the wider Mercedes range, and for V8 engines up to 5.0 litres. This car is silver with a blue interior, a cool, restrained pairing that sits well against city streets and country houses alike. Its condition is excellent, and it seats four. Under the bonnet is a 4973cc petrol V8, the 5.0-litre engine of the range. The 500 suits advertising and fashion shoots, where the silver paint and blue cabin make a calm, uncluttered backdrop. For film, TV and music video, its 1980s lines work as period dressing. It also serves for a wedding or a special occasion. The W126 shape has appeared on screen in Black Rain and Dallas: J.R. Returns.
