1991 Mercedes-Benz 300SL | Cardiff

A 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300SL from the R129 generation, the two-seat luxury roadster known for its long bonnet, steeply raked windscreen and relaxed grand-touring manner. The model pairs a folding fabric roof with a detachable hardtop, so it works open or closed. This car is finished in metallic silver with a cream leather interior, a soft pairing that catches the light outside and brightens the cabin when the roof is down. Under the bonnet is a 3000cc engine, and the car is in very good condition. The cockpit seats two and keeps driver and passenger clearly in view. Its crisp lines and early-1990s look give fashion and editorial shoots, music videos and photography a polished subject, and the silver paint reads cleanly against city and coastal backdrops alike. Period film and television work set in the 1990s gets a car of exactly that era. Weddings and milestone days get a smooth open-top getaway. It is based in Cardiff.
