2001 Jaguar XK8 | High Wycombe, Berkshire

The XK8 is Jaguar's V8 grand tourer from the turn of the millennium, liked for its smooth, quiet pace and a leather cabin Jeremy Clarkson compared to Blenheim Palace. Its long, sweeping lines and low stance nod to the E-Type. This 2001 car is in triple black: midnight black paint over black leather, in excellent condition. The 4.0-litre V8 gives a hushed cruise, with a deeper note when pushed. The single dark colour looks understated and a little mysterious, and the curved bodywork shows its shape cleanly. Film and TV work gets a car that can stand for money, taste or intrigue. Photographers and fashion and editorial teams get long, smooth panels that catch the light, and advertising and music video crews get a dark, polished backdrop. A wedding or personal hire gains a more contemporary look than a vintage car. It is based in London, Berkshire.
