2005 Jaguar XJR | Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire

The Jaguar XJR is the supercharged XJ saloon, liked for pairing a hushed, comfortable cabin with a V8 that gives it real pace. This 2005 car comes from the generation with an aluminium body, and it keeps the XJ's low, restrained shape. This XJR is finished in Black with a black leather interior, so it reads as one dark, glossy shape in frame. Its grille is a mesh design and its alloy wheels are generously sized, marking it out as the R model above the supercharged 4.2-litre V8. Inside, wood-veneer panels sit beside black leather that is soft to the touch, and it seats four in excellent condition. The dark, understated look suits film and TV scenes that need authority or quiet menace. Its polished black bodywork gives fashion, editorial and advertising photographers clean reflections to work with, and events benefit from the same low-key presence. For weddings and personal hires, it is a quieter alternative to a limousine. The car is based in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire.
