1989 Honda DAX | Ilkeston, Derbyshire

A 1989 Honda Dax, the minibike known for its pressed-steel T-bone frame, small wide tyres and bench seat. The name nods to the dachshund, whose long, low shape the bike echoes. It is a compact machine with a playful look that photographs well from any angle. This one is finished in Red with a black seat and chrome details, and its 110cc engine sits in a frame that leaves plenty of room in shot. Its condition is excellent. The glossy paint and bright chrome look clean up close, while the small body keeps the surroundings visible. On a film or TV set it places a scene in the late 1980s, and its shape adds street-culture character to fashion and editorial work. It also suits brand activations and events, where a small red bike draws the eye. Weddings and personal hires can use it as a getaway with a difference. It is based in Ilkeston, Nottinghamshire.
