1973 Ford Capri | Coseley, West Midlands

This is a 1973 Ford Capri Mk1, the fastback coupé Ford introduced in 1969 as a European take on the American pony car. It is liked for its long bonnet, low roofline and simple, Cortina-based mechanicals. This car is white with a black interior, a crisp contrast that reads cleanly on camera. It has a 3000cc engine, the cabin seats four, and the car is in excellent condition. The Capri's long nose and sloping tail give it a strong side profile for 1970s film and television, music videos and period advertising. The white paintwork gives photography and fashion shoots a bright, clean backdrop, and the car stands out as a static feature at events. A wedding or personal hire gets a confident 1970s alternative to the usual choices. It is based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
