About this vehicle
1977 Ford Capri | Leicester, Leicestershire
A 1977 Ford Capri 3.0 Ghia, from the Mk2 generation of Ford's rear-wheel-drive coupé. The Mk2 added a large rear hatch to the long-bonnet shape, and in 3.0 V6 form it was quoted at 128 bhp and 120 mph. This car is finished in Arizona Gold, a metallic gold, with a cream interior kept in very good order. The 3.0-litre V6 gives a deep, throaty note, and the automatic gearbox, rather than the manual most Capris had, keeps the driving relaxed. It seats four. Its look also matches the Capri Bodie drives in the first series of The Professionals. Film and television work set in the late 1970s or 1980s gets a period Ford coupé with a long bonnet and sloping tail. The gold paint and cream trim photograph warmly, which suits fashion, editorial and advertising shoots, and the car gives music videos and events a clear 1970s look. Weddings and personal hires are welcome too. The car is based in Leicester, Leicestershire.
