About this vehicle
1963 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible | London
The Eldorado Biarritz is the open-top Eldorado, Cadillac's flagship luxury car: long, wide, finned and generously chromed. The Eldorado began as a Motorama show car for Cadillac's fiftieth anniversary, and the Biarritz name marks its convertible. This 1963 car is finished in Black with a Red leather interior, so the bright chrome and the fins stand out against a deep, dark body. A 6999cc V8 sits under the long bonnet, and the condition is excellent. It seats four. It is left-hand drive: the driver sits on the kerb side and the front passenger steps out on the road side, which gives it a transatlantic look on the street. Its length, fins and open top give photographers and fashion and editorial teams plenty to frame, and black against red reads clearly on camera. Film, TV and music video productions set in 1960s America get a period Cadillac with space for the cast. Weddings and personal hires suit it too, arriving with the roof down. The car is based in London.
