2007 Aston Martin DB9 Volante | Riding Mill, Northumberland

The DB9 Volante is Aston Martin's open-top grand tourer, a long, low convertible with a V12 up front. Its fabric roof folds away in about 17 seconds, and the cabin is trimmed in leather and walnut. Development cars for the DB9 appeared in Casino Royale (2006). This 2007 car is black with a black leather interior, and it is in excellent condition. The dark paint shows off the long bonnet and sweeping lines, and the 6.0-litre V12 gives a deep note with the roof down. It seats two, low in a cockpit that keeps both occupants in clear view. Black paint and a low profile suit film and TV work, music videos and fashion or editorial shoots, where a grand tourer sets a polished, understated tone. The open roof gives photographers a clear view of the people inside, and the car holds its own at event arrivals and red-carpet entrances. Weddings and milestone days get an equally stylish arrival. The car is based in Riding Mill, Northumberland.
