2006 Subaru STI | St Asaph, Denbighshire

A 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, the performance flagship of the Impreza range. STI began in 1988 as Subaru's motorsport arm, and the car carries that link in its large bonnet scoop, tall rear wing and turbocharged flat-four with permanent four-wheel drive. This one is blue outside and blue inside, a matching scheme that photographs cleanly against most backdrops. A 2.5-litre engine sits under the scoop, and the cabin seats four. The raised wing and scoop give it a purposeful stance on location. Rally-themed photography, advertising and music videos suit it because the competition look needs no caption. Film and TV productions set in the 2000s gain a performance car of exactly that period, and events can use it as a display piece. A blue car with a matching interior also works for a wedding or personal hire. It is based in St Asaph, Denbighshire.
