2001 Porsche 911 | Cannock, Staffordshire

A 2001 Porsche 911 from the 996 generation, the first 911 with a water-cooled flat-six. It is known for a sleeker body and a more steeply raked windscreen than the 911s before it. A modified 996 Carrera also played Sally on Pixar's 2006 Cars promotional tour. This car is black with a grey interior, a restrained pairing that keeps the eye on the shape. It has the 3.6-litre engine, BBS LM wheels and a low, stanced look. The manual gearbox carries a GT3 short-shift, so each gear change is a brief, precise movement. Condition is excellent. The black body and large wheels give advertising and music video work a strong, clean shape in frame. The neutral grey cabin suits fashion and editorial photography, and the early-2000s period fits film and television productions. A wedding or personal hire works just as well. The car is based in Cannock, Staffordshire.
