2006 Porsche 911 - 997 Targa 4 | Glasgow, Lanarkshire

This is a 2006 Porsche 911 Targa 4 from the 997 generation, which brought back the oval headlights of earlier 911s. The model is liked for its low, wide stance and a rear-mounted flat-six that gives it real character. The Targa body adds a large glass roof to the familiar coupé shape. This car is finished in blue with a grey interior, a cool, understated pairing that reads cleanly on camera. Its 3.6-litre engine sits at the back, and the glass roof fills the cabin with daylight, which helps with interior shots. A 911 of this period suits advertising, photography and fashion and editorial work, where the low profile and blue paintwork give a clean subject. Its 2000s look fits music videos and period-set film and TV, and it holds its own as a display car at events. For a wedding or a personal hire, it gives a couple a sports car arrival. The car is based in Glasgow, Lanarkshire.
