2009 Nissan GTR R35 | Manchester, Cheshire

A 2009 Nissan GTR R35, the Japanese performance coupé nicknamed Godzilla. It combines a twin-turbo V6 with all-wheel drive, and its wide, muscular body ends in four round rear lights that echo the older Skyline GT-R. The cabin is built around a driver display developed with the makers of Gran Turismo. This car is silver with a black interior, in excellent condition. Its 3.8-litre petrol engine sits under a broad bonnet, and the silver paint picks out the creases in the bodywork in studio light and low sun alike. The 2+2 layout seats four. Advertising, music video and performance photography make good use of the wide stance and the four-light rear, which read clearly on camera. The modern Japanese look suits film and TV scenes and launch events, and the silver body works for fashion and editorial shoots in urban settings. A groom's arrival or a special occasion gets the same presence. The car is based in Manchester, Cheshire.
